Why do I get the feeling that you're doing this just for me? Where is MAXX????

But seriously Geoff, the figures look great. The figures in their packages are something really awesome to get to see. It's been a long and difficult battle, but in the end I'm glad to see that the better man will win. These figures are going to do great. And now that we're all on the verge of owning these figures, I'm even more excited about IS2 coming up.

I know that you guys had problems with the people behind LCBH, but your figures are the new sole representatives for Independent Comic Book Action Figures. Ever since the collapse of LCBH I've been pretty bummed out. But now I'm happy to say that all of us fans who saw the end of indie comic figures, now have something great to look forward to. Thank you. I can't wait to get these.

Congratulations on the new line.
And may Indie Spotlight have all the success that LCBH missed out on.

Very nice. These look great and I'm pretty psyched to add these to my collection. So, when can I go to TRU, Spencers, Hot Topic or wherever to buy these?? Might they be around now?

1st order comes in March. Second by vessel then hopefully with the two new distribs we work a 2nd order for mass stores.

They are fairly good package mockups. Layout is good. The artwork is a big improvement of the initial design. The rounded corners on the top of the card look better than the square. (I can see why the running digital change there to reflect it. They be a %^$% if they where on the way and you had to manually cut all the corners on every card.)

You don't have a pix of the back of a card do you?

Ditto on WWH question. (I am interested in how the Maxx peices, extra head and 3 Isz is all going to fit on the same bubble footprint.)

mmm Interesting...(My mind at work.)

They look great, good job to everyone over at ST.

Youbentmywookie.com probably said it best.

"After years of trial and tribulations Shocker Toys has finally perfected their craft. Most companies would have given up and folded cutting their loss and failed dreams, but not the dedicated blue collar folks over at Shocker Toys. Finally, FINALLY! The long announced Indie Spotlight is about to come into fruition. Praise The Lord! HALLELUJAH! Can I get an Amen?"

LOL

I was always under the impression they were gonna cut up Maxx and you'll have to put him together once you open him. So packaging probably wouldn't be that big of an issue. It'd be similar to Mcfarlane Toys and their Brett Farves with the missing arms or legs that you have to put together yourself heh.

The way Maxx was made we couldn't so the break up but that is better for everyone as he is ready to go out of package. But the package is a but bigger then the others but is the same size package as we had planned for the comic inclusion so it works out as well. Plus Maxx has top half secret so he is lighter then everyone would think.

Oh and big up to youbentmywookie as they didn't let the trolls kill the posts over there. They know what is going on and they don't allow them to get away with their childish crap, here is hoping other sites step up to the plate now too. Oh and double that AMEN!

March eh? I'm looking forward to seeing them in person. Credit where credit is due, I really like ShadowHawk and Scud (though I know nothing about him). Curious to see Maxx in person. I still really like the old McFarlane one, but his articulation is SO limited.

By the way the joint popping issue Mr. Saylor over at figs.com spoke of is due to the fact that the Maxx is half vinyl and half pvc/abs. That is right folks you heard it hear first, it is something that has not been done in action figures and helps to not make the figure top heavy. The elbows on The Maxx are a big ball and the forearm cups onto it. That new inspiration has given birth to the Mallows layout. SCUD's heads and arms are on a ball like a shockini due to the fact he has a floating head and the arms would have looked funny as a ball joint on a robot. There is alot of new ideas involved in this line and it will increase as we get into future series.

The maxx looks awesome packaged. They all look pretty damn good in the box. I would actually be pained to open them :D maybe that means I have to buy 2 of the ones I really like!

Again, my wallet cries out in agony thanks to Shocker Toys.

On a side note, me thinks it may be time to update the "Products" page with the new IS1 pics as it still has the old figs... and lets face it the old paint on Katchoo isn't that flattering compared to the final product.

Another question though: Are any of the figures going to be short-packed in a case? Or are all the figures (includin the variants) going to be evenly shipped?

2 of each variant and 2 Maxx rest even for store cases. TRU is a 4 pack so it will be a chase to get whole series.

Hey no problem. Glad I could help. Well, at least try to help. I'm sorry that it tends to cause more mess for you guys when we try to spread the word. But then I'm also glad to see that there's realists out there like Dr. Nightmare who try to keep everything set straight.
