If you've not yet heard about The Rift you can find out more at www.gistudios.com and of course I'm hearing that books will be included with the Indie Spotlight figures so there's another way to get your feet wet with the characters and the stories too!

PS - Props should go to the new series artist Enrique Savory Jr. for working these up in between finishing a new series for another publisher and putting the final pencli and ink touches on our last issue in the first story arc of The Rift™.

Thanks I'm already copywirtten under the Rift and the books are tm in the public since 2000. You can trademark the name in context with the concept, but this is entirely different from what I hear, bro. Thanks for showing the love and concern though. : )

I've never heard of the comic before, but those turnarounds are pretty cool looking.

You can find the artwork and books at....

Hey Asphalt,

You can read more about the books at our main website www.gistudios.com and you can purchase (no obligation of course) them at www.fedcomix.com. They were shipped through Diamond Distributors originally, but printer failings and the hurricanes that hit Florida a few year back made us late to ship and got us cancelled initially.

My newest work is writing for Bill Tortolini of Dabel Brothers (Hedge Knight, Anita Blake) is called the Marshal and should be coming out again through the DB Pro /Marvel partnership sometime early in 2007. It sold out under the first solicitation, but was shifted to a later date when the DB Pro/Marvel deal went through.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to say thanks for jumping in on the buzz we're creating all the time about the books and now the toys and potential movies.

As far as Y'Nett looking like some other character I've never played Soul Caliber, but I can honestly say that this character has pieces of Boba Fett, The Guyver, and Go Nagai's giant robots mixed up into one cool new package with a spinkle of D&D on top. We've been in print since 2000-2001 so not sure if that pre-dates the game, but I'm fairly certain that it does.

Either way this is a unique character that is sure to be the fan favorite from the way people have been reacting at shows and online. Thanks for your concern Shiaoran.

So the call goes out...

Postby TheRifter » Fri Dec 15, 2006 10:13 pm

Hey Everyone,

I know for a fact that there are a few thousand fans of The Rift™ out there (based solely from book sales), but I also realize that tens of thousands more have yet to get in on the experience. So I'd like to welcome everyone to the forum and this thread and to ask current fans and potential toy collectors...

"Which character from The Rift™ are you most interested in seeing in plastic?"

This could be 6-7" scale or shockini or both. Holla back!
