Indie Spotlight comic book heroes series1 leaves factory!
January 12, 2009,It has been a long journey with many bumps along the way, some even had names. We have worked hard to make a great toy line using great comic book characters, working close with the artists and watching the line come to fruition. We have made a few mistakes in this business and learned from them and we are planning to move forward with great new products for 2009. We will also have Series 1 at NYCC, 2 Indie Spotlight exclusives and some upcoming products as Toy Fair is a week after the show. We thank everyone for their feedback and we are glad to make a great line for all collectors as we are collectors ourselves. News below pictures for retailers on their orders through Diamond Distributors. If you order through Haven distribution or Distributoys they are now the new distributors for IS1.
Indie Spotlight Still available through Diamond 1/19/09
Retailers received an automatic cancel code through Diamond for the 1st listing of Indie Spotlight which listed in July and was changed in shipping to Dec 2008. The codes were set on the original date and not the updated ship date. The extension has passed and the 1st codes will be canceled fully on Jan 31st 2009. The 2nd part of the listing, Katchoo and two variants which were left off original listing by accident will remain open as their cancel date is set at April 2009. This is important even though the codes are canceled retailers will still be able to get their orders if they want to wait and can speak to us or Diamond about it. Once the figures are on U.S. shore the situation will be worked out so that new orders can be placed for all of Series1 through Diamond and complete orders filled. So again even though the codes are set for automatic cancel once the figures arrive in the U.S. at NYCC/Toy Fair the situation will be worked out for retailers through Diamond and ourselves. The Indie Spotlight line is not canceled or finished so please do not take the word of any other sites but Shocker Toys.com about this situation. Diamond has not refused to carry the Indie Spotlight line and the 2nd listing codes are still open and all of Series1 will be shipped to customers on arrival.
